our school is not big but in our school"s spring.there are many flowers in the garden. i often play with my friends in the garden.we can catch the buterfly.it is so interesting.in summer,our school is so hot.and there are many trees on the road.they give us some cool.in fall,school is cool,you can see many colorfull leaves on the floor.in winter, snow is white and light.many children make snowman on the floor.

4月6日上午，市第三届演唱比赛在明珠小学举行。孩子们那流利的口语，不时赢得在场师生们的阵阵掌声。
据悉，在我市，一般小学三年级就开设英语课，由于小学不需要统一考试，所以两年一届的英语演讲演唱比赛已经成为各个学校展示学生学习成果和教师交流经验的重要平台。
在现场，笔者看到，小选手们个个显得信心十足，无论是演讲还是演唱，都表演得维妙维肖。其中来自李家中心小学五(3)班的陈悦同学获得了演讲组的第二名。赛后，陈悦告诉了笔者她的学习“秘诀”。刚开始，她也不怎么喜欢英语，因为老是记不住单词，后来，老师教她一个学英语的好办法，就是边做游戏边学习英语。譬如说，学音标的时候，老师在课堂上报出音标，让同学在字典中找，或者说出一个单词，让大家说出它的重音，又或者把学过的单词让同学做出动作，然后让另外的同学猜……当然，老师上课的时候，一定要认真地听，久而久之，陈悦从一个不怎么喜欢英语的孩子变成了班级里英语学习的佼佼者。陈悦说，兴趣是最好的老师，就像参加这次英语演讲比赛，她只是练习了几个星期，就已经非常熟悉故事内容，演讲时一点也不觉得紧张。
